IWMW Launch Project Let's Usher in Shining Hope (PLUSH)

Writer: Nkeiruka OnyiaNkeiruka Onyia

The project PLUSH follows in the usual tradition of IWMW of sharing love and care thereby putting smiles on faces during the yuletide season.

For the year 2021, PLUSH really hit home. Members of IWMW contributed money as is the case for all of our projects, and with this assisted poor families with very sick children in hospitals.

Two hospitals in the Southeast were visited, Federal Medical Center, Owerri in Imo state and Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Awka

in Anambra state.

A team of IWMW representatives led by Adaigbo Njideka Ejekam were given the responsibility of visiting these hospitals, identifying the families that needed help the most and delivering IWMW token to them.

The team promptly went to work and with clarification and help from the hospital administration were able to identify the critically ill and indigent patients.

The IWMW token in the form of cash was given to 10 families in each of the hospitals and the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude.
